Living in SW Florida makes one more aware of hurricanes. The last hurricane was only about ten days ago, and a new one is creeping up with high winds and a strong water surge.
A small part of prepping for a hurricane is grocery shopping which includes water,
flashlights and batteries, life preservers, medicines, a generator, emergency phone numbers, fuel for vehicles, sealing around windows and/or doors and much more. And that is what my family and I have been doing!
As of now we have less than two days of preparation left. Cleaning up debris will follow. We wish all to be safe. Many have evacuated, but we remain home in a house on stilts.
I'll keep you posted.
