KINDLE VELLA JUMP-STARTS IN JULY
First, I want to follow up on the previous blog about the UFTA entertainment group that was held on Monday, June 14th. They had not met since Covid hit,
but now they're safely back at it. The meeting was successful with discussions on past, current and future films and music videos in production. Most of all, it was great seeing new and familiar faces, some of which I hadn't seen in over a year! www.ufta.us
NEXT is what I've been promising for several weeks, and that is the kickoff of Amazon's KDP's brand new kindle vella. Yes, the last I knew they spell in all lower case, not sure why, but I'm following their lead. However, I've seen it spelled both ways.
Regardless of how kindle vella is spelled; let's learn more. I'm honored to be a part of it!
Amazon's KDP, "With Kindle Vella, U.S. based authors can publish serialized stories, one short episode at a time. In the next few months, readers will be able to access Kindle Vella stories in the Kindle iOS app and on Amazon.com.
"Amazon’s serialized story service dubbed Kindle Vella is almost here, as the company has announced that it’s launching in mid to late July.
"The announcement was made in a post on the Kindle Direct Publishing site, where the company also reiterated some details about the service. Basically, authors will be able to publish serialized stories on a weekly basis on a new Kindle Vella store, where readers can access the first few episodes of a story for free, then buy credits to read the rest."
So there you have it! I'm excited to be writing for/with them in three categories so far. The category titles are Entertainment, Farming & Gardening and Underwater Treasure Hunting. I hope you'll become one of my "fans" and follow what I have to share. It will have nothing to do with Allie's Adventures, but anyone who has read Allie may recognize "her style!"
