As most know, my first book was about an apple farm. It was to be one book, and I had no plans to publish it. INSTEAD, it was published in 2009, and now more books have followed.
In addition to writing this book series, starring Allie Jean Anderson, Kindle Vella requested I write episodes or short stories under various topics. So far I write under three topics, and one of them is on farming and gardening.
Friend Tom Miller took the time to share some of his recent experiences on the family's farm, Millerhurst Farm, as well as other areas that tie in to any and all farms. Some of those include 4-H clubs, Future Farmers of America (FFA) - which my husband Alton was a member of, and he still has his blue corduroy jacket!

Allie may not be part of Millerhurst Farm, but I'm sure soon she will in the near future. All things farm-related come to light eventually in her adventures, and this will be one of them.
